Gartner Inc., an independent IT and research analyst firm, published its latest Magic Quadrant for Managed Print Services, Worldwide (MPS) and Magic Quadrant for MFPs and Printers, Worldwide, HP was named a “leader” in both analyst reports this year, recognized for its “completeness of vision” and “ability to execute.”
HP Named MPS Leader
Gartner classifies leaders as organizations that “provide MPS to a wide range of customers, including the largest and most geographically dispersed, so they must demonstrate a truly global reach. They must demonstrate not only the skills to deliver today’s MPS, but also the understanding, initiative and resources to prepare for tomorrow’s MPS.” HP MPS is a flexible, scalable offering that facilitates significant enterprise growth, while helping mitigate risks, improve workflow processes and reduce environmental impact. With more than 3,000 customers, HP MPS is recognized for providing a clear path for turning imaging and printing into a vital, value-added asset, instead of an environmental and economic liability.
HP Named MFP Leader
According to Gartner, Inc., recognized leaders in this year’s Magic Quadrant for MFPs and Printers provide hardware that has the “ability to integrate and deploy software applications that connect them to the company’s document management systems.” As customer needs are evolving, the leaders are investing in remote monitoring capabilities, diagnostics, security and cloud printing.
HP has invested in these key differentiators, creating a line of innovative MFPs and printers that are supported by a broad range of applications and solutions. Notably, two solutions, the Open Extensibility Platform and FutureSmart Firmware, bolster HP’s leadership position in MFPs and printers.
As a global technology provider, HP’s presence in almost all regions is a key competitive differentiator. To add to its global reach, HP has the technological ability to simplify the development and deployment of HP and third-party solutions, allowing customers to quickly and easily update, manage and extend the capabilities of their MFPs and printers with the latest solutions and applications.
You can fully expect HP to continue bolstering its capabilities as the times continue to change. With expanding and ever-changing needs, HP’s offerings will evolve as its customers and customer’s needs evolve.
