Decision to outsource (as well as how to outsource and manage it) is a critical one. As blogger Eric D. Brown points out, Canadian Pacific's Campbell indicates in this video that prior to addressing, outsourcing "destroyed their ability to function, destroyed morale, careers, ambitions and a long and thorough knowledge base held within the IT group."
