Gartner is warning CIOs to prepare for the worst in Europe. CIOs can address four areas: market volatility; capital costs; human capital management; and risk management.

Is the CIO uniquely positioned to address these concerns and the Eurozone crisis? It seems to me other key enterprise players in this crisis would be the CIO (aka managing director) and the CFO.
