The Enterprise CIO Forum will host the first of six 1-hour cloud Twitter chats tomorrow from 1-2 p.m. EDT. The focus of tomorrow’s chat is the coverged cloud. To join the stream, please use the #convcloud hashag.

Cloud experts such as HP’s chief cloud technologist Christian Verstraete and others will on hand to tweet answers to your questions about hybrid applications running on multiple  clouds – the very defintion of a converged cloud. As moderator, I will post 3-4 four questions during the hour, but feel free to weigh in with your own. Frankly, your questions are more important than mine!

Here are the questions for tomorrow’s chat:

1. Are the public cloud and the private cloud mutually exclusive? Do they
have to be one or the other?
2.  What is a Converged Cloud and what differentiates it from other
“clouds” and cloud services in the industry?
3. What apps lend themselves to public clouds? Private clouds? Converged clouds?
4. Do private and public clouds interact? If so, how?

If you have not participated in a Twitter chat before, click here to learn about them. Simple and easy, they are a great place to learn and meet new colleagues. Stay for the hour or few minutes or weigh in afterward if the 1-2 EDT Thursday April 12 time slot does not work for you.

You can check out the stream now using the #convcloud hastag and you can keep the converastion going indefinitely after the annointed hour tomorrow using the #convcloud hashtag.
